I thought this was going to be boring and it was far from it! Define U was exciting, I wanted to participate in everything, it was one of those things that I just won't forget. When I left the Define U sessions, I left thinking, thinking about goals, leaders, whatever we learned about that day. Because I learned it in a good way, it really made me think, and I felt good about that. Define U is a really good, genuine, program, and I would recommend it to anyone. Define U is a great program to implement for all high school students. The model provides opportunities for students to gain leadership skills, while participating in anticipatory sets to prepare them to identify positive role models in their lives. The program is set up for the students to be more interactive within each session (in person and online) and touches upon all learning styles and engagement levels within the academic and social setting. Define U is a learning process for all parties involved to help build upon dreams, talents, strengths, and leadership skills. Upon completion of the Define U program, students gain the knowledge base and confidence to succeed in their academics, as well as excelling in a social environment.

I love how everything in the program is positive. The program really focuses on improving students decisions and that they are in control of their life. It teaches students that they can make their own goals and achieve them with effort and hard work. I also like how it also helps the students make a commitment to themselves.
